Drive energy market analysis and business cases for the green transition

Do you want to be part of the green transition in a scale up company and provide important insights and analysis for internal and external parties.

As our Business Analyst, you will provide relevant and actionable insights on market opportunities, power market developments, regulatory frameworks and funding opportunities. You will play a key role in turning data and analysis into decision support, customer value and stronger project business cases.business cases.

Key responsibilities

  • Analyse market potential and identify the most relevant customer segments and opportunities
  • Build and maintain a strong understanding of the power market and its development in Denmark and other relevant European markets
  • Monitor and assess relevant regulatory developments in Denmark and the EU
  • Develop business cases and financial models to support customer projects and commercial dialogue
  • Perform techno-economic assessments and translate complex data into structured insights
  • Identify relevant grant opportunities and drive grant applications together with internal and external partners
  • Support management with clear, data-based recommendations that strengthen strategic and commercial decision-making
  • Help with managing softfunding e.g. EU-grants
  • We are a small company so there will also be many more tasks that needs to be performed so if you have the ability and interest there is a good possibility to grow in our company.

Your Profile

You may be early in your career with a few years of relevant experience or more experienced, but what matters most is that you bring a strong analytical mindset and a genuine interest in the energy sector and the green transition. You know how to work with data, build models and create insights that others can act on.

  • BSc or MSc in Finance
  • Min 2 years of experience in an analyst role or a similar position
  • Strong skills in Excel-based modelling and preferably experience with more advanced analytical tools
  • Understanding of market dynamics in the power and gas markets
  • Experience using AI tools to collect, structure and work with data efficiently
  • Ability to analyse and present large amounts of information in a structured and easy-to-understand way
  • Strong business and financial understanding, with the ability to build robust business cases
  • Fluency in both Danish and English

At Pura Futura, you will work across engineering, finance and management in a small and ambitious team where insights move quickly into action. Externally, you will collaborate with analysts on the customer side, as well as relevant industry organisations, market participants and grant partners to gather data, qualify assumptions and strengthen project opportunities.

About The Company
Pura Futura develops PuraVolta®, an integrated Power-to-X solution for upgrading CO2 from biogas through biological methanation. By combining biogenic CO2 from existing biogas plants with green hydrogen, the system enables a significant increase in methane output while supporting efficient carbon utilization. The produced e-methane is fully compatible with existing natural gas infrastructure, making PuraVolta® a technically robust solution for both retrofit installations and new biogas plant developments.
