About the Company

Pura Futura develops PuraVolta®, an integrated Power-to-X solution for upgrading CO2 from biogas through biological methanation. By combining biogenic CO2 from existing biogas plants with green hydrogen, the system enables a significant increase in methane output while supporting efficient carbon utilization. The produced e-methane is fully compatible with existing natural gas infrastructure, making PuraVolta® a technically robust solution for both retrofit installations and new biogas plant developments.

In Pura Futura we combine long industrial experience with leading academic research to make a Plug and Play Power-to-X solution that can be implemented now. We are backed by industrial investors and public funding and operate from our headquarters in Vejle, with our pilot activities anchored at Aarhus University in Viborg.
